    • Melanie Milburn

      General Manager

      Melanie Milburn is the General Manager for Purdue Pharma(Canada). She is responsible for the overall strategy and performance of the company.

      Melanie has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial operations of Canada’s research-based pharmaceutical companies. She is passionate about helping others grow and develop in their careers. Since joining Purdue Pharma (Canada) in 2014, Melanie has headed innovative programs and initiatives that deliver business results while also communicating information about our approved products – including risks and adverse events – in a way that enable healthcare professionals to make the best decisions for their patients.

      Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Applied Health Research from Waterloo University, and is a member of Lean In Canada.

    • David Blais

      Vice President, Legal

      David Blais is the Vice President, Legal for Purdue Pharma (Canada).  In this role he oversees all legal, compliance and policy matters, as well as provides strategic legal advice as a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.

      David began his legal career in private practice at top law firms in Toronto, specializing in intellectual property, corporate/commercial and litigation law.  Prior to joining Purdue Pharma (Canada), David served as General Counsel to Mylan Canada and in this role he served as a true generalist in pharmaceutical law with a broad scope of practice that touched all aspects of the pharma business in both internal and external environments.  Since joining Purdue Pharma (Canada) in 2017, David has further expanded his expertise in the pharmaceutical industry, developing a deep understanding of drug research and development, as well as the manufacturing, promotion, distribution and sale of innovative medicines in Canada.

      David earned a B.Sc. (Hons.) and completed two years of graduate work in Biochemistry at Laurentian University.  He earned his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in Toronto.

    • Ron Steiner

      Vice President, Finance

      Ron Steiner is the Vice President, Finance at Purdue Pharma (Canada). He is responsible for leading the finance and IT activities, including corporate reporting and business planning processes, all financial transactions (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Treasury), Procurement and Corporate Tax. He is focused on process improvement and driving the organization to achieve its business objectives while giving back to the community.

      He joined Purdue Pharma (Canada) in 2016 with over 15 years of experience across the pharmaceutical, consumer health and medical device industries. He led the Canadian operations at Teleflex and has held roles in the financial functions in both Canadian and multinational organizations, including Price Waterhouse. Ron is a CPA, CA and holds a Hons. B.Comm. from McMaster University.

    • Graham Watson

      Senior Director Corporate Strategy and Transformation

      Graham Watson is the Senior Director Corporate Strategy and Transformation and is responsible for the corporate strategic direction and commercialization of the cancer supportive care (CINV) and pain portfolios. Graham has extensive experience in sales, marketing, physician engagement and customer experience, and brings a patient centric mindset to continually bring value to customers by utilizing cross functional teams to challenge the status quo.

      Graham has over 20 years of experience with multi-national pharmaceutical companies across multiple therapeutic areas. He is driven by a growth mindset, innovation, and people development, to connect the organization to deliver business results. Since joining Purdue Pharma (Canada) in 2010, Graham has focused on creating improvement across the organization by focusing on long term business strategy and operational excellence by engaging best practices in developing corporate vision and strategy, business development, promotion, and sales leadership.

    • Tara Kostadinov

      Director of Human Resources

      Tara Kostadinov is the Director of Human Resources (HR) for Canada. Nationally, she is responsible for implementing the global human resources strategy.

      As a member of the leadership team for Canada, Tara leads HR initiatives. She establishes practices and procedures, including succession planning, talent management, performance management, employee engagement, training and development, and total compensation.

      Tara has more than 10 years of experience in human resources, in various roles and sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Psychology and Behavioral Sciences from York University and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from George Brown College.
