Dr. Craig Landau
President and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Craig Landau is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Purdue Pharma Canada and responsible for the company’s overall strategy and performance.
Dr. Landau entered the pharmaceutical industry in 1997 and has spent the last 14 years at Purdue Pharma (U.S.), headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut. In his most recent role as Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of R&D Innovation, Clinical and Medical Affairs, he led a number of successful clinical development initiatives resulting in analgesic product registrations in the U.S., Europe, and other regions. Through an R&D Innovation function, Dr. Landau has been responsible for pursuing non-drug based technologies and biomarkers intended to bring additional objectivity to the diagnosis and management of pain and the pain patient. Through April 2013, he played a lead role in the development and approval of reformulated OxyContin, a product recently determined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to possess abuse deterrent characteristics.
Dr. Landau earned his BSc degree in Physiology and Anatomy from Cornell University, and his MD degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his Anesthesiology residency at Yale University, with specialty training in chronic pain management, obstetric and peripheral vascular anesthesia. A U.S. Army Veteran, in 2004 he completed a distinguished 12-year career in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, Reserve Component, providing clinical anesthesia and pain management care to soldiers at a combat support hospital in support of American forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Dr. Julie Ducharme is Vice President, Research and Development, for Purdue Pharma Canada. In her role, Dr. Ducharme is responsible for building a robust and successful product pipeline to support Purdue Canada's growth strategy.
Fluently bilingual, Dr. Ducharme brings to Purdue almost 20 years industry experience in drug discovery and early drug development, including 16 years at AstraZeneca, where she held roles of increasing accountability, culminating as the lead for the company's R&D strategy for their analgesia portfolio. Most recently, Dr. Ducharme was General Manager of Human Health Therapeutics at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC). Under her leadership, Human Health Therapeutics became a leading portfolio at NRC, working with biotech firms in the development of biologics, vaccines, and delivery of large molecules to the brain.
An expert in the fields of drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, Dr. Ducharme has worked in numerous disease areas including analgesia, anesthesia, neuroscience, cancer and infectious disease. She is an adjunct professor of pharmacy at the Université de Montréal and sits on several scientific advisory boards.
Dr. Ducharme earned her BPharm, MSc and PhD degrees at the Université de Montréal, and held post-doctoral fellowships at McGill University and the Université de Paris.
Jacqueline Le Saux is Vice President, Legal at Purdue Pharma Canada and manages the company’s legal, corporate policy and compliance functions.
Before joining the company in 2009, Jacqueline spent 17 years in leadership positions with a number of companies in the pharmaceutical industry, where she focused on value-enhancing strategic initiatives, including business and product acquisitions and dispositions, capital formation and corporate development. Prior to her career in the pharmaceutical industry, Jacqueline was a partner at McCarthy Tétrault where she specialized in corporate and securities law.
From 2009 to 2012, Jacqueline served as a member of the Board of Directors of MaRS Innovation, a unique partnership of 14 world class Toronto research institutions, designed to advance the commercialization of the exceptional research carried out by these institutions through industry partnerships, licensing and company creation.
Kelly A. Martin is Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Purdue Pharma Canada and responsible for contributing to the overall financial success of the company.
Kelly brings 25 years of financial and management experience from her tenure in various executive positions. Most recently, she was Vice President Finance & Logistics at Janssen Inc. (Canada), a division of Johnson & Johnson Inc. Kelly is known for her ability to provide leadership during times of change, with a strong commitment to long-term success.
Kelly is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) with experience in all aspects of finance. She qualified as a CPA in March of 1993, performing her articling at Ernst & Young. Kelly earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto in 1990.
Vice President, Human Resources
Marguerite Thompson-O’Neal is the Vice President, Human Resources at Purdue Pharma Canada and is responsible for the overall strategic direction of human resources (HR) at the company.
Joining the company in 2010, Marguerite’s considerable experience spans large organizations in Health Care, Financial Services, Insurance, Information Technology, and Entertainment sectors. She has also provided her expertise and consultation to smaller businesses in such areas as Publishing, Real Estate, Engineering, Education, Retail, Consumer Goods, and Food Manufacturing, and is an award-winning recipient for her work in change management.
Marguerite earned her Master of Arts in Leadership from the University of Guelph. Her credentials also encompass several executive development courses from the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation awarded by the Human Resources Professionals Association.
Grant Perry is Vice President, Corporate and Government Affairs and responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to ensure appropriate patient access to Purdue's current and future marketed products.
Grant comes to Purdue from GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) where he spent the last 15 years, most recently as Vice President, Public Affairs and Reimbursement. He previously held leadership roles within the primary care pharmaceutical and vaccine businesses of GlaxoSmithKline, contributing to the success of the business both in Canada and abroad. Along with his broad experience with GSK, Grant's background includes roles with Industry Canada and the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Canada (now known as Rx&D).

David A. Pidduck
Vice President, Marketing and Health Solutions
David A. Pidduck is Vice President, Marketing and Health Solutions, for Purdue Pharma Canada. In this role, David is responsible for leading all sales and marketing activities, including product management, market research and the sales organization.
David joined Purdue recently with many years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical, drug delivery and device industries. He spent over 25 years at Baxter, most recently as Vice President for Baxter's Medication Delivery business in Europe, based in Zurich, Switzerland. In his career at Baxter, David held multiple executive roles within the corporate and regional businesses, and led several Canadian business units. David’s experience spans a wide variety of disciplines, including sales, marketing, finance, business development, and corporate strategy. In addition to delivering financial results, David is known for team building, people development, and successfully managing complex change initiatives.
David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo and his MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Illinois.
Vice President, Manufacturing Operations
John Sebben is Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, for Purdue Pharma Canada. In his role, John is responsible for leading all manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics activities. This includes all activities related to: manufacturing engineering, validation, procurement, planning, customer service, warehousing, and distribution.
John joined Purdue from Patheon, where he was Vice President, North American Supply Chain. He brings over 25 years of supply chain and manufacturing operations experience in the pharmaceutical industry to Purdue. He has worked in in both Canadian and International roles at a number of leading Pharmaceutical companies including: Baxter, GlaxoSmithKline, Apotex, Teva Canada, and Biovail.
John has led the transformation of manufacturing operations, from end to end, for many companies by delivering world class customer service and coaching high performance teams to continuously raise the bar. John works closely within Purdue Pharma Canada and its network of independently associated companies to deliver world class manufacturing and supply chain performance.
John holds an MBA from York University and a BSc from the University of Toronto.
